Name: Ayame Shibanowe
Age: 50
Race: Dracon
Class: Devil Hunter
Physical Description: In Dracon form Ayame is small for her race, the youngest of her father's children, she hardly makes it to 7 ft tall, and that when she forces her shoulders back to stand completely upright--a very non-dracon habit due to the clumsy weight of their leathery wings. Her eyes are a vibrant metallic gold and her scales maroon in shade, when the light hits them just so flecks of gold and silver can be seen. She has few spikes or bone protrusions--her spine has rounded off protrusions from the back of her neck that become smaller and taper off an inch or so below her shoulder blades and there's a barely noticeable tri-barb on the end of her tail--it's enough to easily tear skin if it catches you, but not cause for a deep wound and not very noticable. The palms of her hands and underside of her arms are more of a cream color, as the bottom of her feet and the underside of her arms. She typically wears a pair of loose fitted black pants and a matching sleeveless half-tunic that ties off at the rib cage and hip.
When transformed into her human form this dark cloth bunches and drapes to leave an off the shoulder, mostly open backed blouse. In human form the clothes look big, but not oversized. While in dracon form the pants end short, about shin high, in human form they hang from her hips and drop to cover her toes--easily concealing that she's barefoot while not leaving enough cloth to trip on.
Her human form is tall--about 6 ft, and exotic looking. Pale carmel colored hair falls in waves about her shoulders and her skin is a light cream color with just enough hint of rose. In this form Ayame has what one might call an 'hourglass' figure--she curves in all the right places if only she didn't hunch her shoulders and slouch a bit. You wouldn't know though, as most often when in her humanoid form she wears a blue velvet cloak from which only the foremost waves of her hair and pouty lips are immediately visible. It gives her a certain aura of mystery that makes her seem curious, and also very dangerous.
Weapons, Armor and other Items:
1. 2 steel daggers with curved blades-each has a dragon head curling out of the hilt. The daggers are somewhat larger than standard--obviously made by a Dracon Smithy.
2. 1 Long Sword of similar design that straps to the back. The blade has dracon writing on it which, if translated into Common, would read 'Poison Fang'. She refers to this weapon as 'dokkiba' when referencing it at all. Ayame makes rare use of this sword, but it was crafted by an artificer and will poison any enemy struck with it. Ayame considers this her 'sure kill' weapon. While, of course, there are immunities and cures to poisons, it is not a weapon she uses lightly. (note: this enchantment accepted due to forefieture of house, horse, and 80 ka worth of starting equipment)
3. 775 ka.
History: The youngest and smallest of the bastard children of Kion Shibanowe--a member of the Xsenzar Council of Elders, Ayame has long been considered the 'runt of the litter'. She's no less Dracon for it, but a certain lack of expectation has given more freedom than most. Due to her small stature (for a Dracon) it was expected that she would never amount to much. Because of this she was left much to her own devices by her early teenage years and made fast friends with a young artificer's apprentice from the Iragi Caste by the name of Phaedron Quiza. The duo became virtually inseparable in spite of protests otherwise--mingling among castes as such remains frowned upon even today, and Ayame managed to garner attention from her father long enough to be scolded and frowned upon. This sort of thing fostered a defiant nature in the young Dracon.
Left to her own devices, Ayame's habits didn't change, she socialized with who she wanted, when she wanted--most learned to ignore it, she was a peculiar girl who would not grow to be anyone of import, but would be 'cared for' due to her station as one of the Shibanowe whelps.
But this easy life was not for Ayame. She chose her own trade after one too many journeys to the lowest levels of Xsenzar where she heard many a story of great warriors from the soldiers there and decided she would become a devil hunter, but on Xsenzar with a strict caste system this was strictly and obviously forbidden. So it was that she decided to leave Xsenzar for the mainland...and this, is where her story begins...
