Samhrahdan Sea

Often called the Samhra by non-elvish folk who have trouble working through the entire word, this is the bitter, North sea that spans the length of Windwarren, ending at Tirane's Algarion Gulf, where it mixes with warmer waters. While the sea here is mostly calm, underground reefs make sailing close to land difficult and any who run into one do not doubt certain death in its sub-zero waters. Icebergs crashing into one another are a common affair in this sea, but rough storms and treacherous waves are uncommon.
