“My brothers, I have discovered something remarkable. In my arcane studies, I have developed a method of achieving mental control over sand. This technique may be applied also to loose dirt and dust. It is a difficult spell to cast, but thus far it has been successful. I hope I may employ this spell to ease the travels of our people. I also have the unusual pleasure of a guest in my home. Several days ago, a shy young woman wandered up to my keep. She is a human, and is certainly attractive; however she speaks little, and refuses to say anything of her background. Her motions are less than graceful, but I have no doubt that is simply her vulnerability to the heat and harsh conditions of the desert. She has become strangely affectionate, yet I have, as yet, shown her no reason to be aside from my hospitality. I hesitate to turn her over to the government until I know more about her….”
The letter was received four months ago from the mentalist J’hire Teline. His brothers have received no further word from him and have become worried. J’hire, usually meticulous about sending his brother’s letters has become strangely silent and no messengers sent to him have returned. His brothers grow worried and have organized a small group of adventurers to investigate the matter. The sands are harsh, and messengers may get lost, but the sudden silence from J’hire is darkly foreboding. Understanding the dangers of the desert, they have offered a 150 Ka reward for any word from their brother, or for news and proof of his demise.
My character will be present in the expedition; I need preferably three more players.
players:
Drage (artificer)
Anoúlk (assassin)
Raivont (bounty hunter)
