Upon entering the vicinity of the Golden arrow tavern, you hear a man raving to the entire bar about his close encounter with a giant Crimsha. He claims it was at least three times his size and attacked him in a wild part of the forest. Ashan, the caretaker of the establishment, serves the man a drink which seems to quiet him, but upon questioning he tells you that his name is Adanel, He happened upon what he believes to the Crimsha’s nest, and only survived because the giant spider was loath to leave it’s unborn young. He confesses that in his rush to get away he has forgotten exactly how to get to the nest, but he remembers a few landmarks that would signal that you were getting close. In the end he offers 50 Ka to anyone who can kill the creature and another 50 for the destruction of the nest. It’s also possible that the nest could contain the belongings of previous adventurers who were less fleet of foot than he was.
(Crimsha: These overgrown spider monsters tend to be about the size of a man at their smallest. They are forest dwellers and perhaps the biggest threat to the Zhoan Elves of Moonhaven of all beasts. While they cannot hide their dark, bulky bodies, the crimsha are capable of moving in complete silence. These sentients are flesh-eaters and often leave little if any of their victims bodies behind. While the crimsha may live in any tree, the fey-enchanted Lavidia Forest is free of them. They appear to be particularly averse to fey magics.) ~sentient beasts
My character will be present in this quest; I need a few more players who are interested.
