A brisk breeze courses through Evadalia's Market, set between two gently rolling hills where the horses particularly like to graze. Her own, a silvery Apertaine mare named Reina, can be found doing just that beside a wide stone arch set against a waist-high pile of bricks. To a foreigner it might look as if someone started to construct a building and never finished. Sandwiched between two hills, three steps lead up to a simple wood-plank floor. Seven carved pine posts support a flat wood roof. The rear and side walls--if they could be called that, are the hills themselves, and the front and a bit of the sides has a bit of brick built up halfway and never finished, more to give the place a charming sort of playfulness than for any real purpose. There is no front door, just a stone archway. The place is all 'country charm', the interior spacious and expansive with produce nearest the door and rolls of cloth to the right. In between are all manner of meats, candles, inks, and of course, along the wall, a plentiful supply of haffon and other horse supplies. The shop has no counter, so to speak, but a hip-high table to the rear is used for packaging goods and holds a locked ka chest, the key of which Evadalia wears tied to a camel-colored velvet strap around her throat. Today, the lady patron can be found out front swinging her hips and humming, enjoying the day's fine weather. Her ebony hair trails down her back in a long braid tied off with a large ribbon that dangles at the backs of her knees. She wears a long lace skirt over leather boots and short pants with a dark leather corset top and a gold band about her right forearm. Seeing you pass by, she gives you a knowing smile and playfully winks one chocolate eye at you. "I know you're not going to just walk by without buying anything," she chastises playfully. "Come inside. I'm certain I've got something you want." Edarin Item Price List

Drage smiles at Evadalia and steps inside. "Indeed, there are a few things i have need of." he replied. Wandering around the shop he shook his head at the unusualness of the shops construction but took it as a cultural difference he'd have to get used to, and quickly if he hoped to learn anything. He wandered the shop, picking up items and stacking them under his arm. A packet of writing parchment, ink, and quill were the first items he decided on. He would need to record what he learned of magic in his travels. he selected a wine skin, a plain tin mug, and a handful of candles. Turning, he found Evadalia standing behind him smiling at his selections. "Oh come, is that all you're buying?" She asked with a little smirk.
Drage looked around thoughtfully and then picked up a bottle of polishing oil and a handful of polishing rags. "that will be all." He replied.
"Very well," she said, and quickly calculated the cost. "that'll just be 39 Ka, how's that?" she asked. Drage nodded and fetched out his Ka purse, it was a good price for what he had in hand, so he saw no need to haggle the price as he would have back home. He payed her and placed his goods in his pack to leave.

The shop wasn't too awfully busy when Hiiaka visited this morning. Orophin had stayed at her side as they walked through the door and when she stopped he sat down at her feet. He was a good boy and she rewarded him with a loving pat on the head. He followed her as she walked around looking at Evadalia's wares.
She picked up a few items listed below:
Dried Rations Wineskin Flint and Steel Soap Brush Arrows (30 Bundle) Blanket Compass Horse Brush Wooden mug
As Hiiaka wandered the store the woman's eyes were locked on the wolf, not out of fear but out of astonishment that the wolf stayed close to the woman the whole time.
"This should do it!" Hiiaka said to Evadalia as she placed the items on the counter in a big heap. The wolf had followed her around the store and again the beast was sitting at Hiiaka's feet. She waited for the woman to total her up. "Looks like you found everything ok....That'll be 104KA!"
Hiiaka smiled at the woman and laid the Ka on the counter. "There is one thing that I need...but I don't know if you can help me...I Need a leather collar and lead for my friend here!" Hiiaka laid her hand on the wolf's head again patting him.
"It seems he is very well behaved, no?" Evadalia asked. "It is not him or I who needs it, it is for everyone else to feel secure. They tend to over-react out of fear!" Hiiaka explained. "Let me check out back" The woman said as she disappeared behind the curtain for a few moments.
Hiiaka watched as more people walked into the shop and she herd the woman gasp when she saw Orophin. The shopkeeper appeared once more and laid the leather collar and lead on the counter... "That'll be 15 more KA please! Hiiaka placed th KA on the counter and gathered her new belongings. "May the Gods shine upon you and you business!" Hiiaka said as she left the store.

Tian walked into the store and took in a deep breath. It felt good to be back in the market place after being gone for so long. "Tian... How have you been?" Evadalia beamed. "what has it been, two maybe three full moons since the last time I saw you, how is your family doing?" Tian loved to visit Evadalia's shop, there was always some new treasure to discover.
"They are all great, expecting another little one any day now!" He already had two little sisters and he prayed that this one was going to be a boy. But whatever the babe was he'd love it like it was his own. He began to gather a few items placing them two and three at a time on the counter....a wineskin, a wooden mug, a blanket, a flint and steel, a bundle of arrows, a horse brush, a sharpening stone, Soap, brush, and a bed roll.
"This should do it Evadalia!" Tian said as he placed the items on the counter. The woman looked over the stuff and calculated in her head the total. "That'll be 102 KA Tian!" Evadalia said sweetly. Tian gave Evadalia the KA and collected his items quickly. "Good-bye Evadalia," Tian looked like he was in a hurry all of a sudden. "I will see you again in the future!" He tipped his head to her and ran out the door calling to his horse.

As Drage stepped into the little shop he smiled at the owner, "it's been a while he said." then headed straight to the clothing. Sorting through a rack quickly he selected a thick wool cloak, died black and lined with black fur. "So, this is how you people deal with the cold outside of the desert." he said jokingly. He understood their different needs in temperature, but he sometimes wondered how other races could bare the chill of the evenings. He threw the cloak over his shoulders and draped it around himself. Even with his pack in place it draped around him, concealing him completely. Clasping it in the front he put up the hood and turned toward a mirror, his features had nearly vanished in the garment, but a shiver ran through his spine at the sudden relieving warmth.
"Much better" he murmured and began to glide through the store. Taking a bedroll he added this to his collection as well then went to Evadalia. "The cloak and the bedroll will be all for today." he said. She smiled coyly and rang up the items.
"88 Ka, Drage." she said. He counted out the coin and handed it over with a smile.
"And worth every ounce of it, thank you my dear." he said and strode toward the door, and out into the warm sun.

Duello stepped into the store and began looking around, eventually locating the cloves. grabbing 4 bags he smiled at Evadalia, no time to chat today, I've got an expedition to get back to before they leave without me. I'm heading into the mountains, so i figured i should grab these first."
he paid his Ka, then ran back toward the inn.
