The most prominent structure in Quora, and in fact the building around which the rest of the city was later build, is the Councillor's Den. A single level rounded stone structure containing a stained glass dome roof, the Den is perhaps the epitome of what little the Dracon People know of grace and elegance. Large double-doorways arch up on all four sides and are intricately carved with artistically rendered depictions of North, South, East, and West, each done by a separate artisan.
Each Councillor has their own door, and will not enter by another. In fact, it has often been noted for a Councillor to approach the building from one end and walk almost fully around it to reach the correct door to enter. A strange little quirk.
Though few citizens ever get to see the interior of the building, it is a place of comfort and luxury for the councillors, standing room only for everyone else. Stone steps lead upward to a second tier around the outskirts of the room with four cushions designated as the four doors for said councillors. All others must stand in the center of them to plead their case--a rather intimidating atmosphere, really, but they so rarely see cases that the Councillor's Den serves primarily as a discussion forum for the four heads of Xsenzar's Government.
