While the Nohra mountains take up primarily the Eastern end of the Northern Lands, there are specklings of this range all across Windwarren and Teluria is set at the base of one such speckling. So it is that this city's most famous tavern is built into the wall of a hollowed out mountain. Heavy bronze doors carved with serpents and roses lead into what one might imagine to be a stoic and dark structure, but in reality the interior is well lit by torches lining the walls and tall, wrought-iron tulip lamps bolted to strategic spots along the floor.
A spiral staircase winds up some seven stories from either side of the front door towards the inn's many rooms, and the tavern proper's walls are painted with an amazingly detailed mural of a lovely Albian woman standing at the mouth of a cave helping a traveller in from the storm. Soft colors give the tavern a subdued, yet wild feeling. Bare wood tables form a half moon along the right of the tavern dappled about a round bar at the center of the room and a dance floor and stage to the left, rear section of the establisment.
A tulip lamp beside the door bears a sign that reads:
"For Service and Prices, see barkeep. Please leave snow boots at the door. Thank You.
~The Management~"
At the bar, a pair of twin Albian men appearing to be just barely out of their youth laugh and jest with the customers. The top of their hair is pulled back in braids and they wear matching silver tunics.
The one to the left raises a wine glass in the air and the one to the right taps it with a fork to get the attention of all those loitering about the bar. "Alright everyone!" the right Albian calls, putting the fork down and clapping his hands. "It's time for the 'Which one is Hanyah game!'" he announced. This was a ritual of the twins'--Hanyah and Eirahn. "The first person who guesses correctly gets a glass on the house!"
