Ayame took her time travelling further into the mainland, and by the time she found herself looking upon the first hume city she found that the gentle breeze rolling off the sea was no longer at her back and the comforting sound of the waves was long since gone. It brought her clearly to the matter at hand--that she was on very, very foreign soil. It was her idea, but put her no more at ease for it and she stood in the tree line a while watching the comings and goings. She'd not often had use for the transformation Dracon had such a skill for--other than a few curious attempts in her youth, but she knew she would be making heavy use of that skill now and watched the women passing in and out of the city for a bit for a clear image of what a hume woman should look like and how she should move before shifting to the smaller form--this at about 6 ft, tall for a human female but not unheard of, and keeping her cloak up over her head with some tendrils of hair falling out of the hood.
She would walk the city a while, watch the goings on of its people. This...she would have to grow accustomed to such as this, and reminded herself--there would be horses, that they meant no harm and she should remain calm. It was going to take some getting used to--this mainland world and its ways. Best to walk a while and observe.
