NOTICE OF EMPLOY:
Several of the merchant caravans which normally bring good into the city of Telrey in the country of Ardenbau have vanished en-route. These merchants routinely use the Gric-turn pass to traverse the cyrrine mountains in the south of Ardenbau bringing their shipments north to the city. A single merchant arrived by foot in the city a few days past saying that a group of bandits have taken up residency near the pass and are robbing anyone who tries to pass. The City is prepared to hire a group of adventurers to confront and deal with this threat to the city’s economy. The city will pay 75 Ka per adventurer, as well as 10% of whatever merchandise is recovered that cannot be claimed and verified by a major trading company. The party may use what ever means they feel are necessary, however relief for the pass must be attained quickly, as the city depends upon these trade routes for raw materials, food, and other essential supplies. BE ADVISED: we have reason to believe there may be a sorcerer present.

sounds good. reading over your profile it might fit to have the arena "volunteer" your character. or however else you want to get her involved. if we can find one more person I'll be happy, if not, then I'll start the thread in a few days.

Hiiaka: The captain of the city watch eyed her shrewdly, as though measuring her from head to foot, assessing her physical prowess, and taking an inventory of her equipment all at the same time. some found his appraisals disturbing, but few dared to mention it. "well ranger. the rest of those going are meeting in "The Mind's Eye tavern" a little ways down the road. I believe they intend to discuss tactics there, and perhaps get to know each other a bit better. it is a rather interesting group that's assembled for this task. I'd advise you to stop in there and meet the others.
Qhai: sounds kinda like mine. he has a definite goal, but attaining it could lead him nearly anywhere that wouldn't kill him.
i suggest we start the thread at the tavern listed above. hopefully I'll see you both there. i should warn you now, my machine may be down for a day or two, as I'm moving into the dorms at college tomorrow.
